Available Dogs

Mitch just happened to be at the same shelter with Kyle and that face just won him a spot in our rescue! Mitch is a happy, all puppy boy with energy and fun to spare! He is gets along well with other dogs, getting better with the kitties and loves people. He will need a family with older children due to his puppy tactics of mouthing. He loves to play tug and would love an active family of his own! Mitch is being fostered near Richmond, VA.

Kyle is one handsome boy with this airplane ears! Kyle's owner died which left him in the shelter, now Kyle is in search of a great new home. He is pretty much a blank slate for training but he has a willingness to learn. He showed some interest in toys and would probably turn on to them quickly with some positive reinforcements. This boy is handsome, smart and athletic. Kyle does not get along with other males yet (he wasn't neutered prior to rescue) and is not good with the kitties. He does seem to like the ladies though... Soloman and Noami came in together... both were in rough shape, especially Soloman. They still need some extra meat on their bones and more hair growth but they look sooo much better now! These two are very bonded together and we would love to place them together. They are VERY sweet, gentle souls. They get along great with others, good with cats and have great house manners... these two are just wonderful companions. Please consider adopting them together... two is always better than one! Kira came in with her puppies. She had to undergo the stress of motherhood (which she was a WONDERFUL Mom) and then heartworm treatment to correct her previous neglect... but now, Kira is healthy, happy and full of love! She is a sweet heart of a lady that is very easy to live with, loves to be around her people, good with other dogs and cats. This beauty was left in the shelter after her puppies were adopted out, her puppies looked very Border Collie but Julie looks like a beautiful Lab. She has warm, sweet eyes that match her personality. Julie gets along well with everyone including the kitties. She showed some interest in balls, so it probably wouldn't take her long to figure out how much fun fetch would be!! She would make a wonderful active family companion!
