I am the founder of a very small SC dog rescue that is temporarily closing. I have a beautiful Border Collie mix that I need to find placement for. Clayland is about 3 to 4 years old, current on vaccinations, current on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventatives, heartworm tested negative, neutered, and microchipped.

He came from Greenville County Animal Shelter in Greenville, SC. He was very close to being euthanized for space and he had an injury that needed surgery. He had no rescue interest so I pulled him last minute. He has since had his surgery (repairing of wounds on his skin that didn't heal right) and has been good to go for several months now.

Clayland had been ok with some dogs and cats but for his evaluation I was told that he can be fear reactive so if he gets startled by another dog he could snap. He's otherwise a very sweet and loving dog. He does well when dogs and cats run up to him off leash when he is walking on leash, has done well with the fosters female lab pup, but didn't like their female German Shepherd.

He really deserves a great home or another reputable rescue who understands Border Collies. Currently being fostered in Fountain Inn, SC.

If rescue or adopter interest, please message to get in touch with the current rescue.
