Bandit is a border collie/corgi mix. He is about 4 years old and weighs 35 lbs. He has no health issues, is neutered and is up to date on shots/vaccines.
Bandit was recently abandoned by his doggy dad after his dad decided to move to Texas and leave Bandit behind. I have taken him but unfortunately due to my living situation, I am unable to keep him. A little bit about his behavior - he knows all his basic commands and will even stay in one place if you tell him to! He’s fully house broken and crate trained. He has a very playful side and loves to run around. He has lots of energy.
He is weary around people at first, but will warm up with time. He is easily frightened and therefore can get defensive. He would not be ideal in a home with children for this reason. He has seen a trainer and they believe he has some anxiety/aggression.
Similarly to people, Bandit must warm up to other dogs before interacting. He has participated in group doggy walks before and has been fine. It is likely Bandit could live in a home with another dog with the proper introductions.
Bandit is located in Neptune NJ, if you would like more information about him please email email@example.com.
