Meet Haven. She is officially retired from her younger years of excitement and adventure and is looking to embrace the uncomplicated and easygoing joy of senior living with people who share her conviction for solitude and laziness.
Like her name suggests, Haven is a looking for a refuge from the chaos of the world and is happiest when she's tucked into a soft spot with her favorite people. These days she's focused on the finer things in life: soft beds, tasty snacks, leisurely strolls, napping, and quietly adoring youngsters from a distance.
If you're looking for a hiking companion, jogging partner, or canine CrossFit enthusiast, Haven would like to respectfully withdraw her name from consideration.
If you're looking for a couch companion, snack enthusiast, professional napper, and neighborhood stroller, Haven would like to schedule a meet and greet.
At approximately 9 years old and 40 pounds, Haven has perfected the art of peaceful living. She walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, behaves wonderfully in the house, and gets along with other dogs, although she generally subscribes to the philosophy of "you do your thing, I'll do mine."
Haven loves everyone she meets, but she does have one tiny bias that she makes absolutely no effort to hide, she loves men. If a man enters the room, this otherwise sedate lady turns into the queen of flirtation. Expect adoring eyes, maybe some tap dancing and a pining shadow wondering where you've been all her life.
Haven is searching for a quiet home with a fenced yard and minimal chaos. She's not interested in raising children, hosting parties, or keeping up with anyone's busy social calendar.
This sweet girl has waited a long time for the good life, and now she's ready to spend her golden years exactly as intended: comfortable, loved, and just a little bit spoiled.
Haven is being fostered by the Australian Shepherds Forever Rescue. She is spayed, utd on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventatives.
