Bristol is an affectionate, lively young Border Collie mix, there's probably Lab in there, about 1 year old. She loves people and really likes to play with other dogs but had the misfortune of being a bait dog. Bristol can be initially timid if another dog lunges or growls at her. Once she knows the dog is just playing she is very happy to join in enthusiastic romping and rough housing. She is crate trained, house broken, and is fairly good on a leash.

Bristol is an enthusiastic girl so she sometimes pulls a little when she first starts out on a walk. If she has sufficient exercise she settles down nicely in the house and she is also good with cats. Bristol has a great disposition but due to her energy level and size, about 60 lb., she would do best with children at least 8 years of age. She would be an awesome running or hiking partner. Bristol escaped an awful situation and is ready for a great life with a caring family.

Bristol is being fostered in the Richmond VA area. If you would like more information you can email or apply to adopt below.
