SPIKE
Want a fun, active new friend in your life? Meet our foster dog, Spike! Young, male, likely border collie/cattle dog mix. Spike is a happy, curious, active young guy who is around 2 years old and 38 pounds. He was rescued from a county shelter after being picked up as a stray, so not a lot of history on him. He is house trained and crate trained, even sleeping in his crate through the night. Although he really loves to snuggle in bed at night, when allowed. He loves his toys and he is super smart. He learns new commands quickly and is quite food motivated. He’s working on his leash training. He likes to be around people and greet everyone he sees. He loves to run around with his doggy foster brother. He’s a very curious guy and super smart. Videos below are of his first encounter with a washing machine and his practice sitting for a treat.
Recommended house: Kids 10+ and no cats. To adopt this guy, apply at Adoption Option Dog Rescue through this link: https://www.shelterluv.com or email bolten.diane@gmail.com
