ROSEMARY & TATER TOT
Tater Tot and Rosemary are beautiful, traditionally marked Border Collie puppies. They are energetic, outgoing, friendly pups who are looking for active families who are ready to share their exuberance for life, guide them into adulthood, and enjoy a lifetime of adventures together. Both puppies are bright, curious, outgoing, affectionate, and eager to learn.
They are currently enjoying typical puppy activities including exploring and hanging out in their fenced backyard, wrestling with each other, playing with toys, chewing on bones, doing zoomies round the house, soaking up belly rubs, giving puppy kisses, socializing with their foster parents and playing with the resident dogs.
These little munchkins are already proving just how smart they are too! They run to the mudroom when it's time for dinner or a nap, sit politely for treats and take them gently, come when called, and let their foster mom know when they need to go outside. They're comfortable sleeping in a large crate or a mudroom and are quickly discovering that a spirited game of tug is one of life's greatest pleasures.
Whether it’s Tater Tot or Rosemary, each is ready to bring its own special personality to a forever home. Tater Tot has a rather carefree, joyful personality that makes him a constant source of smiles and entertainment. Rosemary, his sweet sister, shows a bit of a "let's get to work" attitude that Border Collies are known for, on top of her infectiously loving personality.
Their foster mom expects both puppies to mature into active, intelligent companions who will thrive with families that are able to provide the exercise, training, and mental stimulation Border Collies need. As with most border collies, they will likely excel with people who enjoy hiking, running, dog sports, training, or simply including their dog in an active lifestyle.
Tater Tot and Rosemary were born around May 21. They are 7/8 border collie and 1/8 Australian Shepherd. They are up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, on heartworm prevention and flea/ tick medication and microchipped. Both pups will be adopted out with a spay/neuter contract. Because young puppies are naturally energetic and playful, they often jump, nip, and unintentionally scratch during normal puppy play. To help set both the puppy and adopters up for success, we do not place young puppies in homes with very young children.
