Looking for a Loving, Child-Free Home for Our Loyal Companion

It’s with a heavy heart that we share we’re looking for a new home for our beloved dog. He’s a border collie mix (we have his full Embark DNA panel available) and has been with us since he was about 10 months old. For the past 6+ years, he’s been like a child to us. We’ve invested over $10,000 in professional training, and he’s e-collar trained, incredibly smart, loyal, and deeply affectionate with his people.
Ford loves adventure—beach trips, long car rides, hikes, lazy days on the couch, and shopping trips. Oh and his favorite food is hard boiled eggs.
He thrives in a child-free (12+) home where he can feel safe, secure, and loved. He loves being outside, going on long walks, and sniffing the world—but he’s equally happy to curl up on the couch for a nap. He does have separation anxiety, so a home where someone is around most of the time or has experience with that would be ideal. He gets along with other dogs, as long as they don’t get in his face repeatedly. He has been known to chase cats, but he has also spent time around cats where they got along fine.
We are committed to finding a home where he’ll be cherished and understood. He has so much love left to give, and we know the right person is out there.
